Gail Weinstein Memorial Award This award is given to an ESL teacher or graduate student who develops a learning project in their classroom or develops a project-based learning curricular unit for the adult education classroom is eligible to apply. Friends and family of Ms Weinstein set up this award. Gordon Johnson Memorial Award Gordon Johnson valued the creativity demonstrated by many ESL instructors. He served as an ESL editor and sales representative over the course of his forty-year career. This $300 mini-grant was created in his honor to support the development of innovative ESL materials.
David E. Eskey Memorial Award To support emerging ESOL practitioners who are actively engaged in professional development in the area of L2 reading and literacy by offsetting costs for the annual CATESOL conference. $1,000 Two-Year Award
