David E. Eskey Memorial Award was founded to involve new members of the CATESOL profession in the CATESOL organization in a manner that will provide them with a pathway to interact with the broader L2 profession throughout a 2-year cycle. The following CATESOL members are encouraged to apply for this award:
Practitioners-researchers in the field of L2 instruction who have taught 3-7 years, or
those who have been teaching less than 3 years after receiving a Masters degree in a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) related field.
